Package 4: Squarespace Website Design

My Squarespace Website Design Package is for anyone or any company looking to achieve a contemporary, up-to-date website with all the needed functions in one place. I will setup, design and build your new Squarespace website, then I will give you the basic training to manage and maintain the site.

This package will deliver a beautifully designed, fully functioning, responsive (works on any device) website of 5 to 8 basic pages, a blog section, and needed forms. I provide the planning, setup, design, development and content creation.

The package is $5,600 USD divided into four subscription payments of $1,400 each. This service is normally delivered within 90 to 120 days of start-date and includes:

• An initial 1 to 1.5 hour teleconference to include consulting and your vision for your new website.

• 1 or 2 page follow-up, outlining the goals with initial ideas on the website. Will also include a full review of previous site(s), logo/brand, website needs analysis, etc.

• A secondary 1 to 1.5 hour teleconference to include review of previous outline, ideas, specific needs and discussion of sitemap (outlining various pages, content and forms).

• Initial sitemap created outlining 5 to 8 basic pages, a blog section, and needed forms and functions. Sitemap or final website development does not include commerce (online store, products, etc.).

• Based on approved sitemap (or revised sitemap) the setup and website design and build begins. Three different non-functioning home pages will be designed/developed on your Squarespace site.

• Client will then select one design with one set of revisions. Then, based on the final home page design, the rest of the pages will be created following the home page styles.

• Meanwhile, I will continue with the site setup to include marketing, analytics, blog (blog commenting, etc.) as well as all the site settings (business information, social links, add-ons/integrations, permissions, domains, recommendations for domain emails, billing and account info, mobile (responsive) device considerations, cookies and visitor data, etc.

• Package includes all design and content development using information/content provided by client as well as stock images to include photography and illustrations. The client will have two sets of revisions for each website page or form before the website is approved and completed.

• The blog section will be developed and ready to use, however blog post or blog article content is not provided in this package. I recommend the client write three blog posts or blog articles before launch and I will then layout and post into the blog section.

• Once the website is finished, the client will work with me to test and use the site as well as test all forms and data storage. Then, any final corrections are made to final content and functionality and the site is launched.

• Finally, I will provide a series of three one hour on boarding sessions to familiarize the client(s) with the site administration interface for editing, management and maintenance. Additionally, resources will be provided to the client for their Squarespace site as well as a basic website plan going forward.

My package price does not include design/development of a commerce functions (although commerce functionality is available with the Squarespace solution). Additionally, the package price does not include Squarespace subscription costs, domain costs, email hosting or email account setup. Designing, developing and deploying commerce capabilities are extra.

Getting Started

Clients should be prepared to share any relevant documents, artwork and/or files before the process begins and as it proceeds. Client will respond to each step of the process in a timely fashion.
